Intermediate Ballet

Class Description

This Classical Ballet Class for Teens and Adults is designed for dance students ready to move forward with Intermediate to Advanced choreography and endurance. For adults, our ballet classes progress from Very Beginning > Continued Beginning > Intermediate > Advanced. Our Pointe classes are often taken alongside our ballet classes, progressing from Pre-Pointe to Pointe 1 to Pointe 2. Dress Code: - Women: Leotard of your choice, tights, pink ballet slippers. Skirts and shorts are allowed. - Men: White shirt, black shorts/tights/ballet pants, black ballet slippers, white socks. - Long hair should be pinned into a secure bun. - For more details: https://www.applegatedance.com/dress-code AM Classes are taught by Jean Snyder. We are very fortunate to have Jean as an instructor at Applegate Dance, with the years of professional experience that she brings. Jean was a professional dancer, touring internationally with the Marquis de Cuevas Ballet, and also performed in European films and TV. She took her teacher's training courses at the Royal Academy of Dancing, at the Marin Ballet School, and with well known Russian teachers while dancing professionally. She has been teaching and choreographing for over 35 years.
